Borakalalo Game Reserve is located approximately 120 kilometers northwest of Pretoria, South Africa, spanning 13,400 hectares of protected savanna, wetlands, and woodlands. Established primarily to protect wildlife and offer a wilderness experience, the reserve is home to numerous species including lions, leopards, cheetahs, African wild dogs, buffalo, kudu, and numerous bird species, especially waterfowl in the extensive wetland systems.
